Inventory & Menu

Recipe-based depletion and menu management

Overview

The Inventory & Menu module uses the Recipes defined in the admin panel to deduct each menu item's ingredient needs from stock at the moment of sale. The quantity of each ingredient used in a single portion is tracked down to the gram; ingredients reaching critical levels trigger an instant alert that kicks off the purchasing process. Price updates and seasonal menu changes are reflected across all terminals simultaneously.

Stock movements are transferred to XON ERP's Inventory module in real time and reconciled with the central warehouse balance. Costed sales data lands in the Accounting module as a journal entry, feeding the cost analysis that compares raw-material cost against sales revenue.
